Cleaning Systems
Robotic Washers
These are modular systems with one or more robots integrated with the washer. The robots are used for either component manipulation or maneuvering the cleaning tool. These systems are extremely flexible in terms of the cleaning processes that can be performed with the robot's assistance as well as the part variety that can be handled by the washer.
- Part or cleaning tool manipulation by the robot
- Single- or twin-robot configuration
- Single- or multiple-station layout with online conveyor
- Robot payload range 5-500kg
- Washing: high pressure deburr and cleaning; injection flood wash; seal and flush; spray wash (single-stage or multi-stage washing with superclean liquid in the final stage)
- Drying: vacuum drying; compressed airblow; ambient / hot airblow; component rotation
- Part Types: cylinder block; cylinder head; transmission housings; crankshafts; other machined parts with intricate geometries
- Cleaning Application:
- Targeted final cleaning of critical areas such as oil or fuel galleries and water jackets after machining
- Intermediate cleaning to meet input condition requirements of downstream process
- Output Cleanliness: suitable for meeting most stringent cleanliness norms
- Throughput: medium to high(minimum 58 seconds); enhanced throughput is achieved with multi-station layout
- Extreme process flexibility
- High quality cleaning results and machine reliability
- Possible to accommodate large part variety
- Ease of maintenance
- Lower energy consumption
